sandboxd tastyeffectco/sandboxd

Self-hosted engine and web console where a coding agent builds apps from a prompt in isolated Docker sandboxes on your own server, each with a preview URL.

sandboxd at a glance

Checked 15 Oct 2026

sandboxd (v0.3.22, October 2026, beta) is one Go program driving Docker on a Linux server. Each app gets its own container; an agent (OpenCode by default, or Claude Code) builds it from your prompt and serves a live preview URL. It has a web console with file editor, git diff and push, undo, plus 80+ one-click open-source app recipes and a full API. OpenCode runs on free hosted models with no key; local models are not documented. Uses container (not VM) isolation and API auth is off by default. Public URLs need your own domain/TLS or paid sandboxd Cloud. MIT.
