OpenUI at a glance
Checked 15 Oct 2026OpenUI from Weights & Biases generates single UI screens from a text description and renders them live; you can ask for changes and convert the HTML to React, Svelte or Web Components. It runs locally in Docker or from Python source and works with OpenAI, Groq, Gemini, Anthropic and other LiteLLM providers, or Ollama. It does not build full apps: no backend, database or deployment. The README calls it "like v0 but open source and not as polished". The last feature work was in September 2025; 2026 commits are dependency pinning only. Apache-2.0.

2 of 6 jobs. Generates and previews front-end UI only; no backend, database, hosting or multi-page app projects.
For change the UI by clicking on it (Visual Edits), add a database, publish the app to a live URL (Publish), turn a screenshot, see other Lovable alternatives. You may also need to build an interface, an API server and hosting yourself.
