Dyad dyad-sh/dyad

Free desktop AI app builder that writes and runs JavaScript web apps on your computer, using your own model keys or local models.

Dyad at a glance

Checked 15 Oct 2026

Dyad (v1.19.0, October 2026) is a desktop app for Windows and macOS, with experimental Linux builds. You chat, it writes a React/JavaScript app into a normal Git folder on your machine and shows a live preview. It works with Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, or local models via Ollama or LM Studio. Supabase or Neon can be connected for a backend; publishing is up to you (the docs use GitHub and Vercel). JavaScript apps only, no native mobile apps. Most code is Apache-2.0; src/pro is fair-source (FSL-1.1) and backs the optional paid Dyad Pro.
