KeePassDX at a glance
Checked 15 Oct 2026KeePassDX (4.5.5, Sep 2026) is an Android password manager for KeePass .kdb/.kdbx files, GPL-3.0, ad-free and maintained by volunteers. It has system autofill, a fill-in keyboard, TOTP/HOTP codes, passkeys and biometric unlock, and works with files from KeePassXC and KeePass. There is no sync server: you move or sync the database file yourself. A paid "Pro" build only adds visual styles. Android only; no sharing. No third-party audit report found.

3 of 6 jobs. Android-only local vault with autofill, TOTP and passkeys; pair with KeePassXC on desktop and your own file sync.
For vault sync across devices, family and team password sharing, breach and weak-password alerts (Watchtower), see other 1Password alternatives. You may also need to build an interface, an API server and hosting yourself.
