AliasVault at a glance

Checked 15 Oct 2026

AliasVault (0.31.1, Oct 2026) is a young, actively developed password and email-alias manager, AGPL-3.0. It stores passwords, TOTP codes and passkeys, and runs its own email server so each site can get a random alias. Clients: web app, Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari extensions, iOS and Android apps. Self-hosting needs 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM and Docker on 64-bit Linux. Still pre-1.0 and mostly one maintainer; no third-party audit report found. No family or team sharing listed.
