Signature PDF at a glance
Checked 15 Oct 2026Signature PDF (v1.9.2, Dec 2025; commits to Sep 2026) is an AGPL-3.0 PHP web app, installable on Debian/Ubuntu, Alpine or Docker, with many public instances. Multi-signer mode is optional and stores PDFs on the server, optionally GPG-encrypted. A server-side digital signature can be enabled with poppler and NSS certificates. It is a simple signing tool, not a workflow platform: the README documents no signing order, reminders, templates or API.

2 of 6 jobs. Simple shared signing of a PDF; no signing order, reminders, templates or API documented.
For signing order and reminders, audit trail and completion certificate, reusable signing templates, eSignature API and embedded signing, see other DocuSign alternatives. You may also need to build an interface, an API server and hosting yourself.
