Checked 16 Oct 2026

Keila (2.2k stars, 0.30.3 Sept 2026) is an Elixir newsletter app shipped as a Docker image that needs only PostgreSQL. It has contacts, segments, sign-up forms, campaigns written in a visual editor, Markdown, MJML or plain text, privacy options for open/click tracking, public archive links and an API. AGPL-3.0-or-later; the logo is excluded. Small lists can send from your own inbox over SMTP; larger ones need Amazon SES, SendGrid, Mailgun or Postmark. Its docs list no automation sequences and it has no paid subscriptions.
