Mautic (10.8k stars, 7.2.1 Sept 2026) is a PHP/MySQL marketing automation suite run by an open-source community. It covers segments, an email builder, a drag-and-drop campaign builder for automated journeys, forms, landing pages and reports. GPL-3.0-or-later with no paid edition. It needs a VPS (not shared hosting) and an email transport such as SMTP, Amazon SES or SendGrid. It is heavier to run than a plain newsletter tool and has no paid subscriptions.
