DigiDoc4 (144 stars, 4.11.1 Sep 2026) is the Qt desktop client from Estonia's Information System Authority (RIA), shipped as part of the ID-software for Windows 10/11, macOS 14+ and Ubuntu 22.04-26.04. You add files and sign them with an Estonian ID-card in a card reader, Mobile-ID or Smart-ID; it also encrypts files and manages ID-card PIN codes. LGPL-2.1. It is only useful if you hold an Estonian eID, and it has no sending, routing, reminders or templates: each person signs on their own computer.
