19 builds · 408 open-source repos · blueprints tested with Claude Code

Discover what to build with AI.

Explore real app ideas, see the open-source components behind them, and copy structured blueprints into your AI coding agent to start building.

Built for curious makers using Claude Code and AI coding agents. Blueprints currently validated with Claude Code; compatibility with other agents is being tested.

How it works

  1. 01

    Discover

Browse app ideas by goal or difficulty. Each build shows what you end up with, the problem it solves and the open-source repos it is made from.

  2. 02

    Copy the blueprint

On the build page, press Copy the blueprint. You get a short prompt that points your agent at the full spec: parts, repos, data flow, steps, costs and licence notes.

  3. 03

    Build with your agent

Paste it into Claude Code and follow its setup. It checks each repo’s docs and asks before spending money or using your accounts. You review keys and settings.

Before you start

What’s in a blueprint

Every build page is also a Markdown file your agent reads. There is no one-click setup: you stay in the loop.

The goal

What you end up with, who it is for, and what it replaces.

The repos

Each open-source part, linked to GitHub and its docs, with its licence and running cost sourced and dated.

How it fits

What passes from one part to the next, so the agent wires them up in the right order.

The steps

The setup in order, plus paid add-ons and licence fine print to watch out for.

Short answers

Questions before you build

What is a blueprint?

A structured build spec: what the app does, the open-source repos it uses and how data flows between them, the steps in order, paid add-ons and licence notes, and a source for every fact. The copy button gives you a short prompt that points your agent at the full blueprint.

Which AI coding agents does it work with?

Blueprints are tested with Claude Code. Codex, Cursor, Grok and other agents can read the same Markdown blueprint, but we have not verified builds with them yet, so expect to guide them more.

Do I need to know how to code?

It helps, but several builds are marked Beginner. Your agent does the setup and is told to ask before spending money or using your accounts. You still review what it installs and any keys or settings it asks for.

Is open-source software really free to use for business?

Usually, but it depends on the licence. Each project shows its licence and whether commercial use is allowed. Projects you can read but not freely reuse are marked source-available, not open source.

Can my AI agent search RepoQuarry itself?

Yes. Connect it to https://repoquarry.dev/mcp, or point any agent that browses at https://repoquarry.dev/llms.txt. Every page also has a Markdown copy.
