YuE2 (3B, September 2026) from the M-A-P team turns lyrics and a style prompt into a full song with vocals, first writing an ABC score you can read and edit. Covers work by transcribing a recording to a score with SheetSage2. Code is Apache-2.0; weights are CC BY-NC 4.0 with an extra permission letting individual creators monetise output, while companies need a commercial licence. Officially Linux only, with a 24 GB NVIDIA GPU. Editing re-renders the whole song rather than one section, and there is no stem splitting. YuE v1 lives on a separate branch.
