ACE-Step Studio at a glance
Checked 15 Oct 2026ACE-Step Studio 2.0 is a single Windows app (Rust and React in Tauri) built on acestep.cpp, so it needs no Python. It makes songs and instrumentals with ACE-Step 1.5 models from Q4 to BF16, plus covers, remixes, repaints, six-stem splitting with HT-Demucs, MIDI transcription, karaoke timing, LoRA training and an MCP server for agents. It runs from 4 GB of VRAM on NVIDIA; AMD/Intel via Vulkan are untested. Version 2.0 is Windows only. Cover art and the optional writing assistant can use paid OpenRouter, but a local Gemma model is offered. Mostly one developer.
