Stable Diffusion web UI (AUTOMATIC1111) at a glance

Checked 15 Oct 2026

The original popular Stable Diffusion web UI: text-to-image, img2img, inpainting, outpainting, several upscalers (RealESRGAN, ESRGAN, SwinIR, LDSR) and a large extension ecosystem. Code is AGPL-3.0. If no model is present it downloads Stable Diffusion 1.5 (CreativeML OpenRAIL-M). Activity is low: last master commit 2024-07-27, latest release v1.10.1 on 2025-02-09, last dev-branch push 2026-03-02. It wants Python 3.10.6 on Windows and supports 4GB GPUs.
