SD.Next at a glance

Checked 15 Oct 2026

SD.Next started from the AUTOMATIC1111 code base and supports text-to-image, image-to-image, video, inpainting, outpainting, image editing, LoRA, ControlNet, IP-Adapters and upscaling. It runs on NVIDIA, AMD (ROCm, ZLUDA), Intel Arc, DirectML, OpenVINO, Apple MPS and CPU, with SDNQ quantization for up to 4x VRAM reduction. Models auto-download from a reference list; licence depends on the model. Code is Apache-2.0. No VRAM minimum is published.
