Remotion remotion-dev/remotion

Make videos programmatically with React components, by hand or with a coding agent, and render them locally or in the cloud.

Remotion at a glance

Checked 15 Oct 2026

Remotion (v4.0.535, October 2026) treats React code as the source of a video: compositions render to MP4 locally with Node or Bun, or on Lambda/Vercel, and coding agents can write them via Remotion Skills. The licence is NOT open source: the source-available Remotion License is free for individuals, non-profits and companies with up to 3 employees; larger for-profit companies must buy a Company License. No script writing, footage or voices built in.
