Redmine at a glance

Checked 15 Oct 2026

Redmine is a mature, self-hosted project management web app (the GitHub repo is a mirror of the official Subversion repo; tags up to 7.0.2). It has flexible issue tracking, roadmaps, automatic Gantt charts and calendars, and time tracking. GPL-2.0, with no paid edition. Runs wherever Ruby runs, including Windows. Agile or kanban boards are not in the core feature list (plugins exist); the UI is dated next to newer tools.
