AGPL-3.0 instant messaging and VoIP app for groups and communities, with desktop and mobile apps and a free Docker self-host path.

Fluxer at a glance

Checked 15 Oct 2026

Fluxer is a young (first commit January 2026) Discord-style chat and VoIP app for friends, groups and communities, licensed AGPL-3.0. Self-hosting runs the web app, API, gateway, search and voice in Docker on one machine, and needs 2 vCPU and 8 GB RAM by default (4 GB with low-memory overrides). Apps exist for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android (beta) and iOS (TestFlight). It targets communities rather than workplaces; Slack-style compliance and enterprise SSO are not documented.
