# WinDirStat

> WinDirStat (2.9.3, October 2026, actively developed) scans drives, folders, network shares and phones, then shows usage as sortable lists, file-type stats and treemaps, sunbursts or flame graphs. It finds the largest files and duplicates, handles hard links and cloud files, exports scans and reports to CSV or JSON from the command line and can recover deleted files with admin rights. Accelerated NTFS scans need elevation. Windows only. GPL-3.0 or later. No scheduled scans built in.
