# WBO (Whitebophir)

> WBO is a lightweight online whiteboard: many people draw at once on a large virtual board that updates in real time and is always saved. It runs from a Docker image or Node.js 22, supports JWT-based access control and many languages. AGPL-3.0. It is a freehand drawing board only: no templates, shape libraries, diagrams or design tools. Hardware needs are not documented.

## What it replaces
- Canva: Online whiteboards (partial). Basic real-time drawing board; no templates or sticky-note workflows.
- Figma: Whiteboarding (FigJam) (partial). Freehand collaborative board, far simpler than FigJam.
- Miro: Shared whiteboards, Live collaboration (partial). Simultaneous drawing on shared boards covers basic whiteboarding; Miro workshop facilitation, integrations and enterprise controls are not covered.
