SurveyJS Form Library at a glance

Checked 16 Oct 2026

SurveyJS Form Library (4.9k stars, v3.2.1 Oct 2026) renders forms and surveys from JSON in React, Angular, Vue or plain JavaScript and sends answers to your own backend; no SurveyJS server is needed. It is MIT-licensed. It is a developer library, not an app: no hosted form pages, response dashboard or user accounts. The drag-and-drop Survey Creator, PDF Generator and Dashboard are separate commercial products needing a per-developer licence for production, so with only the free library you write the form JSON yourself.
