# Screenity

> Screenity (18.8k stars, v4.6.12 Sep 2026) is a Chrome extension for screen and camera recording with drawing, click highlights, zoom, blur of sensitive content and an editor to cut, trim and crop. Free version keeps videos on your machine or saves to Google Drive (which gives you a link); no sign-in. Hosted link sharing, captions and multi-scene editing are in the paid Screenity Pro. GPL-3.0 since v3; the author asks that commercial products built from it get in touch. Chrome only, no comments, AI or analytics in the open-source build.
