# Rakazo

> Rakazo (Apache-2.0, beta) lets you create named bots with their own memory and routines that work on a computer you host: a Docker sandbox by default, or E2B, Daytona, CreateOS or Box. Bring your own model: a subscription, an API key, OpenRouter or a local server such as Ollama. Web, desktop, iPhone and Android apps, voice, MCP and OpenAPI tools. Self-hosted alternative to Grok Bot; no hosted Rakazo Cloud yet, and no model weights.

## What it replaces
- Grok Bot: Named bots with memory, Autonomous web browsing, File and code tasks in a sandbox, Scheduled agent tasks, Connectors to your apps (partial). You host it and choose the model, so quality and cost depend on your model and sandbox. No hosted service to sign up for yet, and it is a beta.
