# Quant-UX

> Quant-UX is a long-running GPL-3.0 tool (since 2019) for building interactive prototypes and testing them with real users, with data on clicks and flows. This repo is the front end; the back end is separate, and self-hosting uses community Docker images whose repo was last updated in March 2024. A hosted instance runs at quant-ux.com. It is aimed at prototyping and research, not polished visual or production UI design, and has no developer handoff or whiteboard. Hardware needs are not documented.

## What it replaces
- Figma: Clickable prototypes and user flows (partial). Clickable prototypes plus built-in usability testing; weaker visual design tools than Figma.
