Quant-UX at a glance
Checked 15 Oct 2026Quant-UX is a long-running GPL-3.0 tool (since 2019) for building interactive prototypes and testing them with real users, with data on clicks and flows. This repo is the front end; the back end is separate, and self-hosting uses community Docker images whose repo was last updated in March 2024. A hosted instance runs at quant-ux.com. It is aimed at prototyping and research, not polished visual or production UI design, and has no developer handoff or whiteboard. Hardware needs are not documented.
RepoQuarry. “Quant-UX.” Checked 15 Oct 2026. https://repoquarry.dev/projects/quant-uxHow much of Figma does it replace?
1 of 4 jobs. Clickable prototypes plus built-in usability testing; weaker visual design tools than Figma.
For UI and product design with components and auto layout, developer handoff (inspect, whiteboarding (FigJam), see other Figma alternatives. You may also need to build an interface, an API server and hosting yourself.
