Postiz at a glance

Checked 21 Oct 2026

Postiz (v2.25.1, October 2026) is a social media scheduler you can run on your own server with Docker Compose, or use as the paid Postiz Cloud. You write a post once, pick channels such as X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Bluesky or Mastodon, and schedule it on a calendar. It has team collaboration, post analytics, a public API, webhooks, an MCP server and a CLI. The self-hosted edition has no plan limits, but you must register your own developer app on most platforms, and the AI copilot needs your own OpenAI API key. Licensed AGPL-3.0.

Where these numbers come from
  • Stars, forks, releases: GitHub's public API, fetched every night (last fetch today).
  • Star history: counted every night since 22 Oct 2026.
  • Commits and people committing: GitHub's repository statistics, counted weekly. Names are never stored.
  • Pull requests and issues: counted from GitHub for the last 30 days.
  • Stars show popularity, not quality. The facts below are checked separately, by reading the project's own documentation. How we check.
