# Memories (Nextcloud)

> Memories (3.9k stars, v10.1.0 Oct 2026) is a Nextcloud app that turns your Nextcloud photos into a Google Photos-style timeline with a rewind scrubber, albums, external sharing, a map with reverse geocoding, bulk metadata editing, video transcoding and Google Takeout migration. People and object grouping come from the separate Recognize or Face Recognition apps. AGPL-3.0. It needs a Nextcloud server; phone backup uses the official Nextcloud apps, and a Memories Android app is in early access.
