# Newsjack

> Newsjack is a set of Markdown skills plus a small CLI that give an AI agent PR tasks: spotting news you can comment on, angle and headline drafts, pitch critique, fact-checking, crisis holding statements, coverage tracking and AI-visibility prompt panels. It works in Claude Code, Codex, Hermes and OpenClaw, with reduced modes in Claude.ai, Cowork and ChatGPT. Live news search and journalist research use the Medialyst API (free account offered). MIT licence. It needs an AI agent and does not replace a paid product we list.
