# Nanobrowser

> Nanobrowser (14.1k stars, Apache-2.0, v0.3.0 October 2026) is a free side-panel extension for Chrome and Edge. You type a task; it reads pages, clicks, types and moves between tabs, runs several tasks in tab groups, and can save a CSV or Markdown report to Downloads. Ask mode checks with you before submitting, sending, deleting or uploading, and payments and passwords are always handed back. Works with Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter and other APIs, or Ollama/LM Studio (a model with tool calling is required). Browser only: no code sandbox, slides or scheduler.

## What it replaces
- Manus: Autonomous web browsing (partial). Browses in your own browser with your logins, like Manus Browser Operator; no cloud browser, research reports, sandbox or schedules.
