# LibreChat

> LibreChat is a self-hosted, ChatGPT-like web app that unifies OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Bedrock and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, including local Ollama. It adds agents, MCP tools, chat with files, web search, code artifacts and multi-user login. Install with Docker Compose (bundles MongoDB, MeiliSearch, RAG API) or npm. MIT licensed; ships no model weights, so the chosen model's licence and quality matter. The repo moved from danny-avila/LibreChat to LibreChat-AI/LibreChat.
