# Joplin

> Joplin is a Markdown notes app for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS (v3.7.21, Sep 2026) with a web clipper and E2EE sync through Nextcloud, S3, WebDAV, Dropbox, OneDrive, local files or paid Joplin Cloud (from 2.40 EUR/month billed yearly). Apps are AGPL-3.0-or-later, but Joplin Server is under a separate Personal Use License; business self-hosting is Joplin Server Business (from 2.50 EUR/user/month). Hardware needs are not documented.
