ECC at a glance
Checked 18 Oct 2026ECC bundles 71 agents, 311 skills, command shims, hooks, rules, memory, continuous learning and the AgentShield security scanner into one install for coding agents. Claude Code is the main target; Codex and Qoder have native plugins, while Cursor, OpenCode, Copilot and others get limited adapters. Needs Node.js 18+, Git and a coding agent with its paid plan or API key (custom or self-hosted model endpoints work through the agent). MIT licence; a paid ECC Pro GitHub App for private repos is optional. Native Windows has open defects. It does not replace a paid product.
