# Czkawka and Krokiet

> Czkawka (12.0, September 2026) is a multithreaded Rust app with 14 tools: duplicates by name, size or hash, big files, empty files and folders, temporary files, similar images, videos and music, broken files and more. Krokiet is the current desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux; the older GTK app gets no new builds, and there is a CLI. No internet access or tracking. Core and CLI are MIT, the Krokiet app is GPL-3.0. It finds files to remove; it does not draw a disk map or clean browsers.
