# Croodle

> Croodle (214 stars, since 2013) runs date and general polls where all poll data is encrypted in the browser with AES-256. It needs only PHP 7.2+ webspace and stores data in text files, no database. MIT. The README still calls it alpha and "not meant for productive use yet"; the last tagged release is v0.7.0 (Aug 2023), though commits continue in Oct 2026. Only polls: no booking pages, calendar sync or payments.

## What it replaces
- Calendly: Group polls to find a time (partial). Encrypted date polls only; self-described alpha, no calendar integration.
