# Crab Fit

> Crab Fit (535 stars, last commit Apr 2026, no tagged releases) has participants mark the times they are free and shows when most people overlap, with optional Google Calendar import. GPL-3.0. Self-hosting means deploying a Next.js frontend, a Rust API and a database you choose from several adaptors; the guide suggests Vercel and Fly.io and there is no one-command install. It only finds a group time: no booking pages, reminders, round-robin or payments.

## What it replaces
- Calendly: Group polls to find a time (full). Replaces group availability polls only; no booking links, reminders or payments.
- Doodle Professional: Poll a group for meeting times (partial). Shared availability helps a group find overlapping times; Doodle booking pages, calendar sync and professional administration are not covered.
