# Clips Kitty

> Clips Kitty (formerly Clips Studio; v2.0.0, October 2026) takes a YouTube, Twitch or Kick link or a local file, transcribes with faster-whisper, scores moments 0-100 with a local Ollama LLM (Gemma by default), crops to 9:16 on the active speaker and burns in editable captions. Optional YouTube publishing, or multi-platform posting via WoopSocial or Upload-Post. Windows 10/11 only; 16 GB RAM, GPU optional. AGPL-3.0 code; YOLOv8 weights are AGPL and Gemma has its own terms. No live-stream clipping and no Mac build.

## What it replaces
- Opus Clip: AI picks highlight clips from a long video, Auto-reframe to vertical 9:16 (speaker or face tracking), Animated burned-in captions on clips, Virality score per clip, Schedule and publish clips to social platforms (partial). Covers the whole clipping pipeline on a Windows PC; multi-platform posting goes through third-party services, and there is no Mac or web version.
