Cindy
Desktop AI agent that runs Claude Code and Codex on your own files and logged-in apps, with schedules, MCP and IM hand-off. Apache-2.0 client.
Cindy (about 3.9k stars, v0.1.115 October 2026) is an Electron desktop client, with mobile companion apps, that runs the Claude Code and Codex harnesses as one agent on your real files and logged-in apps. It keeps memory and skills, runs scheduled tasks that report to Slack or Feishu, and connects tools over MCP. Install the Windows, macOS or Linux build. It needs a model source: a Claude Code or Codex plan, API keys, local models or the paid Cindy service. The backend is closed; skipping sign-in disables server features.
