# BridgeClip

> BridgeClip (v0.1.19, September 2026) is an Electron and Python desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux from BridgeMind. It finds complete moments from the transcript, exports 9:16 or 16:9 clips with face-following framing, nine caption styles and dead-air removal, and has an editor for trims and crops. Rendering is local, but transcription and clip picking run through OpenRouter, so a paid key with credit is required. Optional social publishing via Zernio. MIT. No virality score. Very young project (created September 2026).

## What it replaces
- Opus Clip: AI picks highlight clips from a long video, Auto-reframe to vertical 9:16 (speaker or face tracking), Animated burned-in captions on clips, Schedule and publish clips to social platforms (partial). Close feature match minus a virality score, but AI steps are billed to your OpenRouter account and publishing needs a Zernio account.
