# ACE-Step Studio

> ACE-Step Studio 2.0 is a single Windows app (Rust and React in Tauri) built on acestep.cpp, so it needs no Python. It makes songs and instrumentals with ACE-Step 1.5 models from Q4 to BF16, plus covers, remixes, repaints, six-stem splitting with HT-Demucs, MIDI transcription, karaoke timing, LoRA training and an MCP server for agents. It runs from 4 GB of VRAM on NVIDIA; AMD/Intel via Vulkan are untested. Version 2.0 is Windows only. Cover art and the optional writing assistant can use paid OpenRouter, but a local Gemma model is offered. Mostly one developer.

## What it replaces
- Suno: Full songs with vocals from a prompt or lyrics, Instrumental tracks (Instrumental mode), Covers and restyles of an uploaded song (Cover), Extending or regenerating part of a song (Extend, Splitting a song into vocal and instrument stems (Get Stems) (partial). All five jobs in one offline Windows app; no macOS or Linux build of version 2.0.
